then we’ll head to one of Attica’s most iconic dive sites — the Devil’s Well!

Also known as the Diver’s Well, this spot dates back to the 1960s (as revealed by the legendary underwater cinematographer Mr. Alexis Papadopoulos) and has become a rite of passage for every Advanced diver.
There isn’t a single Advanced diver who hasn’t experienced this dive!

ℹ️ About the “Well” of Vouliagmeni

➡️ Known as the “Well of Vouliagmeni”, it’s a vertical cut in the seabed located in the second bay of Vouliagmeni, also referred to as the “Diver’s Bay.”
➡️ This cut lies near the center of the bay, at a depth of 11 meters, with dimensions of 5.5 x 6.5 meters, descending vertically to 28.5 meters, forming a flattened cylindrical shape.
➡️ At 16 meters, divers encounter a side tunnel, known as the “parapigado” (side well), about 1–1.5 meters wide, extending down to 28 meters.
➡️ From there, a submarine cave extends northwest, with the remarkable phenomenon of continuous freshwater inflow all year long.
➡️ At the main cave entrance — where, back in the 1980s, the coast guard placed metal bars to mark potential danger — the flow is now barely noticeable.
That’s exactly where we’ll end our safe and fascinating penetration into this natural wonder.
➡️ Today, the site is one of the main scuba training areas in Attica, and a beloved dive spot for recreational divers.

🧾 Registration

The dive is primarily for Advanced and higher-level divers,
but Open Water divers are also welcome — they’ll dive under separate supervision (without entering the Well).

🚫 Last-minute cancellations will not be accepted.

DIVENESS reserves the right to change the date, time, or location of the dives,
or to cancel the activity in case of unsuitable weather conditions.
Refunds will be issued only in that case.
