🌊 One of the Greatest Wrecks in Greece

Join us to explore the largest recreational diving wreck in Greece, the legendary Eurobulker X!

• The wreck starts just 5 meters below the surface and reaches down to -36 meters.
• With a length of about 200 meters, it rests vertically on the seabed, as if still sailing.
• Impressive highlights:

  • Huge cargo holds with remains of cement in “moon surface” form
  • The large fracture caused by poor loading
  • Two massive cranes
  • The enormous propeller

• The wreck is covered with mussels & oysters, while sea bream, sargos, and many small fish have made it their home.

📖 History of Eurobulker X

• Built: 1974, Spain (Astilleros Espanoles, Seville)
• Engine: Sulzer 11,000 HP
• Gross tonnage: 19,996 GRT (capacity 35,264 GRT)
• Length: approx. 200m
• Owners: From 1992 to 2002, it changed names & owners several times (Matumba – Eurobulker X)
• Wreck: September 2002, at Lefkanti, Evia. It broke in two due to storm conditions (8–9 Beaufort) while loading cement. Large quantities of fuel oil & cement spilled in the South Evian Gulf, but were cleaned up immediately by the Coast Guard & Ministry of Shipping.
• Today, it is a major diving site and a thriving marine habitat.

🤿 Dive Program

🩵 13:30 – Meeting point at Dilesi

🔹 1st Dive

• At the propeller (~30m depth)
• Tour around the deck & accommodation
• Ascent towards the bridge (ceiling at 6m)
• Safety stop – End of first dive
• 60’ surface interval

🔹 2nd Dive

• Dive at the “CRACK” (25m)
• Swim towards the bow – explore anchors & windlasses
• Tour around the bow deck
• Ascent to 8–9m at crane level, heading aft
• Safety stop at 6m at the school’s mooring line on the second crane

📌 Dives are for Advanced level and above.
‼️ Certified wreck divers may also perform penetration dives!
