Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 – We’re diving at Prophet Elias!
A truly unique dive spot!

The dive at Prophet Elias is suitable for divers of ALL levels.
Our meeting point is at 19:30 at Diveness.

A few words about the dive site:

After entering the water and swimming on the surface for about 50 meters (to avoid the shallow area we’ll have to pass through on the way out), we descend to a depth of 9 meters, where we encounter a sloping section with two levels of rocky seabed, which lead into sandy terrain before the Posidonia seagrass fields.

On these rocky levels, various broken ceramic pieces are embedded in the seabed — nothing of archaeological value, but they make for great underwater photography.

After this section, we pass through a seemingly “lifeless” area, keeping the rocks to our left and the Posidonia to our right. We move through this quickly to reach a slope with a large solitary boulder.

This is perhaps the best part of the dive site, featuring large rock formations creating cavities full of moray eels, crabs, shrimps, and various species of nudibranchs. Spirographs can also be seen scattered throughout this section of the underwater route.

Schools of small fish swim by in the hundreds, offering a magical sight to the diver who looks toward the slope or up toward the surface. Occasionally, small amberjacks make surprise appearances.

After the dive, we can enjoy a relaxed evening in the courtyard of Prophet Elias.
Get organized – bring beers, drinks, food… anything you like to enjoy a beautiful night under the moonlight!

Participation cost: €28, which includes:

• Guided dive with certified PADI instructors
• Full SCUBAPRO gear set (for those who don’t have their own)
• Equipment transportation to and from the dive site

Not included:

• Nitrox (+€3 for those who want it)
• Torch (+€5 if you don’t have your own)
• DAN daily dive insurance (+€7 if you don’t have and would like us to issue one)
• Dive computer (+€5 for those who want one)

The dive is open to ALL certified diver levels.

The dive center reserves the right to change the date and time or cancel the activity in case of bad weather. Refunds will only be issued in this case.
